1700 New York Ave
1700 NY Ave is an award-winning, LEED Gold Certified, Class A office building located in downtown Washington DC. With its gently curved, sculptural glass form, the building is fitting neighbour to the adjacent Beaux-Arts Corcoran Gallery of Art. On the top three floors that rise above the roof of the Corcoran, 25ft. cantilevered floor slabs provide needed additional floor space to the modest 19,000 square-ft. structure and offer stunning panoramic views of the National Mall. To maximize access to daylight, the building features a column free perimeter and expansive curtain-wall modules. Articulated at key points in the facade, the blue-green curtain-walls provides a sculptural profile against the sky.
