Queen Richmond Centre

Queen Richmond Centre West is a 17-storey, 302,000 square ft. highly sustainable office building located in Toronto’s Entertainment District. The 70 ft. L-shaped glass atrium at ground level integrates two existing industrial heritage buildings preserved through a custom-designed structural solution called the Mega Delta Frame structure. These 80-foot steel sectioned frames are pressure-filled with concrete and consist of four upper and four lower legs that support forces up to 18 million pounds. QRCW’s design includes sustainable features such as a fully-automated daylight harvesting and glare control system with external solar shades and internal automated blinds and light shelves as well as improved indoor air quality due to a pressurized raised floor system.
