585 Kendall is a 500,000 square foot project, located in Boston, MA. This development was designed to honor the maritime history of the site and the Canal District, while demonstrating the multiple uses of the building.

The building contains a little bit of everything, from performing and cultural arts, to office and lab space. The wide range of colors and panel sizes on the curved façade symbolize the art-focused portion of the building. However, the curved facades are not purely aesthetic, they reduce shadow while boosting sunlight, as well as counteracting wind passages.
